Isaac Murdoch
Isaac Murdoch, whose Ojibwe name is Manzinapkinegego’anaabe/Bombgiizhik is from the fish clan, Serpent River First Nation.
He is a storyteller, traditional knowledge holder, artist, musician, and advocate for Indigenous peoples. His images, like his stories, reflect his deeply held beliefs in the great spirit of the Earth and the traditional knowledge he was taught by his Elders. Isaac has committed his life to the preservation of Anishinaabe language and cultural practices.
